Content
KIDJO Inc. offers Subscriptions to the Services and Content intended for children without advertising, accessible via Mobile and Web Application.
The Content is proposed according to the age of the User, language and Content-type. Furthermore, the Content, videos, and games are divided into two categories:
“Have fun” and “Learn”
Subscription Process
An Ethio telecom subscriber who wishes to subscribe to the Content and Services proposed by KIDJO via the Mobile App must follow the following steps:
Be 18 years old or older at the time of taking out the subscription;
Send A or B keywords via SMS to 9013
On the welcome SMS notification from 9013, click the link to go to the Welcome page then to the App
Open an account by entering their Country and Mobile number then Input PIN delivered to the mobile number
Subscription Terms
The Customer has access to the Services and Content as soon as the Subscription has been paid for.
The Subscription is renewed automatically as per the selected offer. i.e Daily or Weekly unless the customer unsubscribes before
Price
The prices 2 birr/day or 10 birr/Week are provided in Birr including tax. They include VAT and any reductions applicable at the time of ordering.
Ethio telecom reserves the right to change the prices displayed on the Website at any time. However, prices are fixed and non-revisable with regard to the Customer once they are billed for their Subscription.
Parent Control
Kidjo allows Parents to control the below information’s:
Choose the kid's profile you want to use.
Add a new profile: Create up to 3 profiles with individualized contents.
Choose the content your kids will watch: Educational / Entertainment or Mix of both.
Select/Unselect specific videos you want or don’t want your kids to watch.
Access the Settings.
Free Trial of the Service
Users will have a 1-day free trial after their subscription
Payment Method
The payment relating to the Subscription is made by the Customer by either:
Airtime
Bill
Telebirr
Un-Subscription Process
Send Stop A or Stop B keywords via SMS to 9013
SMS notification from 900 will be delivered to the user mobile number notifying successful un-subscription of the service.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
All subscribers warrant that they have read and fully understand these Terms and Conditions carefully which are on public view at https://kidjo-et.com
By sending an SMS to the short code 9013 (2 birr/day or 10 birr/Week starting from the second day, for first time users only) participants accept and understand the complete terms and conditions and agree:
To receive SMS communication and other ads from Ethiotel and partners collaborating with Ethio telecom on their mobile phones relating to the Promotion.
Ethio telecom reserves the right to cancel or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted online at https://kidjo-et.com
These terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effective during the promotion period until 31/12/2024 (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the offer for operational reasons, e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).
